Batting/ Keeping Pads

The simplest method for ascertaining the correct size of the pad is by measuring the distance between the middle of the knee cap to the instep (where the tongue of your shoe would sit); this gives you the length of pad required.  The table below gives an approximate guide to the length of pads for each size.  Please note that unfortunately sizes can vary slightly between manufacturers.

Batting/ Keeping Gloves
The critical measurement here is from the start of the wrist to the tip of your longest finger.  Again, sizes may vary between manufacturers so the table below for sizing, is only an approximate guide.

Helmets
To measure for a helmet you should run a tape measure around the middle of the forehead, just above the eyebrows, around the side (just above the ears) and across the bump at the back of the head.  A good fitting helmet should be worn with the peak protruding horizontally from the line of the eyebrows.

Shirts/ Tops and Shorts/Trousers
Cricket shirts tend to be loose fitting for maximum comfort and ease of movement during play of a match.  Trousers are usually supplied with unfinished legs which can be adjusted to the correct length.  This section provides a guideline to fit only as sizes for clothing can vary from brand to brand.
