    Who are Cricket Demon?

    Just like all successful cricket teams, the staff at Cricket Demon are a group of talented individuals who work together as a unit ensuring that each team member fully maximises both their own and their team-mates’ abilities to fulfil their potential.  As individuals, the staff possess a wide range of attributes including excellent skills in the fields of Project Management, Finance, Marketing, Web Design, and Customer Service.  However, collectively they all share a common theme; a love and passion for cricket.  By working together the team at Cricket Demon aim to bring you the best cricket equipment and accessories with the optimum level of customer service.

    What does Cricket Demon do?

    Cricket Demon has teamed up with many of the world’s leading manufacturers of quality cricket equipment, accessories, and clothing, bringing you, the customer, the very latest products at the very best possible prices.

    Are there any issues with product availability?

    Most of the leading manufacturers launch their new product ranges for the following summer between September and November.  Whilst many of their products are readily available, some soft leather goods such as pads and gloves are sourced from abroad and therefore may mean a delay in delivery.  In addition, most of the cricket bats at the higher end of the market are individually hand made by skilled craftsmen.  Clearly this process cannot be rushed as it would undoubtedly compromise quality and ultimately performance.  What we can guarantee is that Cricket Demon will endeavour to source and deliver all orders as soon as possible with the greatest urgency.

    Why do most of the products have an AVAILABILITY indicator?

    Cricket Demon aims to provide the customer with as much detail as possible about of its products offered for sale.  Most of the leading manufacturers launch their new product ranges for the following summer between September and November.  However, not all products will be immediately available due to the sourcing of some products from abroad.  The AVAILABILITY indicator gives you, the customer, an indication of when the product will be available from the manufacturer.

    How quickly can I expect my order to be delivered and how much will it cost?

    Cricket Demon aims to dispatch all goods in stock within 3 - 5 working days from receipt of order. We regret that this may not be possible during the run up to Christmas and during the calendar months of February to May due to the sheer volume of orders. Where we anticipate delivery to be in excess of 28 days from order date due to the unavailability of stock or volume of orders, we will endeavour to contact as soon as this becomes apparent.  All deliveries from our warehouse are couriered by Interlink Express at a cost of £6.95 per order.  Items which are delivered directly from the manufacturer (most ground equipment products including scoreboards, catching cradles, and BOLA bowling machines) may incur an additional carriage charge due to the size and weight of the product.  Any additional charge will be notified prior to delivery.

      Will Cricket Demon back order a product if it is temporarily out of stock?

    If, for whatever reason, a product is temporarily out of stock we will of course back order it for you.   In this instance you will be notified of the back order option and also offered a similar alternative product or the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.  Some back orders may result in the anticipated delivery date to be in excess of 28 days from the order date, which will prompt one of our advisors to contact you to discuss an approximate delivery date, arrangements for alternative products, or cancelling the order if you so wish.  Please note that orders for products with additional services that are being processed, for example, bespoke score boards cannot be cancelled.

    What do I do if I can’t find a certain product?

    Please use our search facility at the top of each page to search for any item you require.  Should you not find the product you are looking for, but we stock the manufacturer’s products, please contact us to see whether we stock the product or if we can order the product for you.

    How do I know the correct size of equipment and / or clothing?

    Please see our ‘Size Guide’ section for advice on which size to purchase.  It is worth noting however, that manufacturers have slightly different ‘fits’ and sizes may differ marginally.  Cricket Demon do, however, have a returns policy so that if a product does not fit you may return the item within 7 days of receipt.

    Does Cricket Demon have any promotions / special offers?

    You will find details of promotional offers under “Cricket Demon Deals” which appear on the Homepage.  These offers will be time limited and subject to availability, both of which will be at Cricket Demon’s discretion.

    I am planning on placing an order for our whole cricket team.  Will Cricket Demon offer any discount?

    Cricket Demon already heavily discount all products for sale.  However, if you wish to place a bulk order we will happily discuss this with you and will aim to offer you the best possible price.  Please contact us via the ‘Contact Us’ link on the homepage.

    Does Cricket Demon offer an embroidery or printing service?

    Cricket Demon offers an embroidery and printing service, and we will happily discuss your requirements with you.  Prices start from £3.50 per item.  Please contact us via the ‘Contact Us’ link on the homepage.

    How do I know that my order has been received?

    When your order has been received by Cricket Demon you will receive an automated return email confirming the details of the order.  If you do not receive this, please contact one of our advisors (via the ‘Contact Us’ link on the homepage) who will be happy to help.

    What is Cricket Demon’s returns policy?

    Cricket Demon hope that you will be fully satisfied with your goods.  Should you wish to return an item, you may do so within 7 days of receipt of the goods and either a full refund or exchange of goods will be offered.  You will however be required to pay for the postage and packing unless the goods are faulty.  All goods must be returned in their original condition and in the original packing as these items must be suitable for resale.  Cricket Demon reserve the right to charge for goods that it believes not to have been returned in its original condition.  If the goods are faulty then Cricket Demon will refund the postage charges.  Refunds or replacements of cricket bats are at the manufacturer’s discretion.  Please see our ‘Returns Policy’ on the homepage for full details.

    What are the payment terms?

    Payment for goods is taken only when goods are dispatched.  If an order is split for any reason, payment will only be taken for items dispatched.  This may require several payments being taken.

    Is paying by credit / debit card online secure?

    Our web site is protected under the Protx Payment System, which enables secure communication between the web site and visitors to our site.  When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption.  They are only decrypted after they reach our computer.  They are not held in clear text on any web site.

    Do you offer sponsorship?

    As a retailer we do not offer sponsorship to clubs or individuals.  We recommend that you contact manufacturers direct.

    My bat has split after just one season, can I get a refund?

    You can expect a bat to last from around one to five seasons.  It is of utmost importance to follow the manufacturer’s bat care guidance to ensure that your bat is well prepared prior to use and well maintained during its life.  See our “Bat Care” section for further details.  Refunds and replacements of all bats are at the manufacturer’s discretion.  If you have goods which you believe to be faulty, please contact us in the first instance via the ‘Contact Us’ link on the homepage or on tel: 0845 0946 473.

    Should I expect to pay an additional charge for a bat which is “pre-knocked in”?

    This is dependant on the manufacturer.  All senior Woodworm bats for example, are pre-knocked in as standard, whereas other such as Newbery will offer the choice of a bat with a natural finish or a bat which has been pre-knocked in (a service which you can expect to pay for).  It sounds obvious but you should never pay for a bat to be pre-knocked in if it comes as standard (something which some of our competitors are guilty of charging for).  It is important to read the product description thoroughly, and Cricket Demon will only offer this service if it does not come as standard.

    Does Cricket Demon have a privacy policy?

    Cricket Demon does not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

    Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option.  They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process.  You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies.  If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies.
